New Additions to Broker Network Sales Force Make Impact

New additions to the Broker Network sales force have assisted in seven new Associates committing to join the Network on 01 August 2009. This brings the total number of Associates in the Network to 53, with 165 Members making up the 218 entire Membership.

The seven new Associates join Broker Network following confirmation of a new three year deal with Aviva.

Scott Bennett, Head of Sales commented today:

“The recruitment of seven Associates this month is a reflection of our healthy pipelines and appointment activity. It’s fair to say that we are seeing an increased demand for quality network services, particularly in light of the reluctance of some insurers to commit to some of the alternative propositions currently available to brokers.”

The new additions to the team

Scott Bennett has joined the Network as Head of Sales, coming from his position as Regional Sales Director North and East at Towergate. Prior to this, Scott held senior management positions at Yorkshire Building Society and Hill House Hammond.

Martin Harris has been appointed as Sales Manager from Barclays, where he worked as Area Director for West and Mid Wales, prior to which he also held a number of sales and supervisory roles at Hill House Hammond.

Ged Hickey joins the team from within Broker Network, where he had previously held the position of Telemarketing Manager. Prior to joining the Network, Ged worked in senior roles at both O2 and Barclays. As Sales Manager, Ged is working alongside the rest of the department to secure appointments across both Broker Network and Countrywide.

The wider team is made up of Sales Managers Louise Maclaren, Nick Meikle and Ross Barnitt with support from New Member Technician Adam Furniss and Sales Support, Mark Legge.
